    The Martin Trucking Co., Inc. (MTC) is proud to offer it's drivers a very competitive pay package.  We believe a Professional driver who brings those qualities to the job that we are looking for should be compensated in that manner.

    We are offering a package which will reward experience, quality, professionalism, longevity, performance, and safety.

    Mileage Base Pay

    Base pay will be determined on the amount of verifiable experience a new hire has with a maximum starting pay of $.36 per mile.

    Teams

    Experienced Teams will start at $0.34 per mile.  Each additional 200,000 miles combined verified experience will earn an additional $0.005 per mile up to $0.36 per mile.  (Experienced means 400,000 miles of combined verifiable experience).  Teams with less experienced will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

    Mileage Base Pay Increases (Longevity Pay)

    Solo - $0.005 per mile increase after each 55,000 paid MTC miles.  Maximum pay $0.41 per mile.  

    Team - $0.005 per mile increase after each 85,000 paid MTC miles.  Maximum pay $0.41 per mile.

    Bonuses

    Additional compensation available in our Company Driver Bonus Program of $0.01 per mile.


     

    Company Driver Bonus Program

    The Martin Trucking Co., Inc. (MTC) bonus program is multi-faceted.  Several different bonuses make up the Driver Bonus Program, they are: 

    Safety Bonus - $0.01 per mile - Each MTC Company driver earns $0.01 for each pay mile.  To be eligible the driver must not have had a preventable accident/incident during the quarter. 

    DOT Inspection  - $25.00 - Company drivers earn $25.00 for a DOT Inspection with is correctly logged and has no driver violations. 

    Safety Meeting - Company drivers and owner/operators receive $25.00 for attending a company sponsored safety event.

    The bonuses listed above are to be combined into a single Driver Bonus Account.

    Drivers must maintain a $1,500.00 balance in their account.

    Accessorial Pay

    Detention Pay $15.00 per hour
    Layover Pay $50.00 pay after each 24 hour period
    Breakdown Pay $50.00 pay after each 24 hour period
    Multiple Stops Dispatched loads over 500 miles = $10.00 each stop after 1st stop
    Dispatched loads under 500 miles = $20.00 each stop after 1st stop

    Payroll

    Payroll is processed on a weekly basis, with Friday being pay day for driver payroll. All completed paperwork must be received by Tuesday A.M. in order to be processed for Friday payroll.  Trip envelopes are furnished, self-addressed and stamped for you.  Weekly Direct Deposit is also available.

    Medical Coverage through Aflac
    Coverages Maximum Lifetime = $1,000,000.00

    Family = $65.00 per week

    Retirement Plan
    401K Retirement/Savings Optional employees contribution = 2% to 15% of Gross Earnings
    Eligibility Opt in available on the first day of any month after six months of employment
    Company Contributions Elective, with a maximum of 50% Up to 4% of your Gross Earnings
     
    Holiday Pay
    Six (6) Paid Holidays New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day
    Eligibility Dispatched with a load and on the road for a minimum of twelve hours that day.
    Company Holidays $50.00 per day
     
    Vacation Pay
    Eligibility
    1 year Employment = 1 week*
    3 years Employment = 2 weeks*
    7 years Employment = 3 weeks*
    15 years Employment = 4 weeks*

     *Vacation Pay = ((Total miles for previous year ÷ 52) x mileage pay rate) x  number of weeks of vacation

    Funeral Pay
    Member of the Immediate Family Two days paid time off
    Note: Daily average of last two weeks pay
    Eligibility 6 months of Employment
